Christmas 2011

Oh yes, Santa came to the Felder house... Hooray!! We have had such a busy Holiday season, it felt so good to be home with my family relaxing for just a few minutes! Christmas Eve we delivered gifts to a few needy families, opened our new PJ's, left cookies and apples for Santa and the reindeer, and then headed to bed... around midnight for me and 3am for Chris... you know getting ready for the big man! At about 6:30am the kids woke up and patiently laid in our bed watching Dora for a few minutes while we made sure that everything was ready. The kids were thrilled to come down the stairs to find a kitchen for Paige, a tent for Wyatt, and a Zombie Lab for Brock. Brock took the speed approach to opening each gift and Paige screamed in delight as she opened every gift... it was so cute. We tore through the presents in about an hour, and then kissed Daddy goodbye as he headed to work (bummer). I was brave and took the kiddos to church solo, and ended up really feeling the spirit and loving the Christmas music (that is until Wyatt had a total meltdown 1 hour and 10 minutes in. Hello people??? 1 year olds have a very accurate internal clock... sacrament should be over in 1 hour and 10 minutes!!!) Anyways, after church we headed to the Felders for another round of feasting and some intense games of Mafia. What a crazy, beautiful Christmas season it has been. I ate too much, laughed too much, spent WAY too much money, but that's what Christmas is all about!
