Now this is roughing it... one giant tent set up in the backyard, two air mattresses placed on camp cots, popcorn, reeses pieces, and a tv playing spiderman. Yes, the boys had a campout in the backyard and Brock thought it was just the coolest ever!! The two men stayed up late watching spiderman and then crashed on their cozy beds. Luckily, they came in at about midnight... good thing too cuz' I was getting lonely and cold in the house!! So much fun to have Daddy home for the weekend!!

Sometimes life just gets so darn COMPLICATED! There are so many things that can just get you down, wear you out, and make you want to quit. Luckily today, I was able to refocus myself on the thing that matters most... MY FAMILY. We felt like we needed to get away from the WORLD today and go out and spend some family TIME. We headed out to Red Cliffs camp ground and hiked around. We packed a backpack full of snacks and a jug of water and hit the trails. It was so fun just being TOGETHER and watching the kids LAUGH and RUN. They find joy in the simplist things like throwing rocks in a pool of water, sticking twigs in the mud, climbing rocks, basically just about anything. It was just REFRESHING to be with my family with no worries and no drama. Life is good.
