Carlsbad Beach

After Disney we headed to Carlsbad State Park. We camped it up in our sweet tent and had a blast!! We hit the beach every day and even headed to San Diego for the swap meet. The beach was amazing. Chris hit the waves bodysurfing and Brock loved jumping the waves with the kids. Paige took an early face-plant in the water, and that kept her on the beach building sandcastles for the rest of the trip. I sat on the beach and watched all the fun!! Nighttime was the best though, as Brock had a blast playing night games with the kids... the only problem was that he was the only boy in a sea of girl cousins!! We ate good, listened to Travis Topham on his guitar around the fire, and constantly were on the search for sand dollars and "cool" seashells. Overall, it was an amazing trip. Everyone had a blast but it sure is good to be home!!
